We are writing to you today to provide information regarding what actions Proline Management is taking in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and to provide what support we can during this time. We believe that through these challenges, we all have an opportunity to care for and support our communities through proactive solutions, calm interactions and taking steps to protect one other.
We are monitoring updates from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), WHO and the BC Centre for Disease Control to ensure we are aligned with guidance regarding community safety. We encourage you to share these reliable resources.
We are offering strata councils the opportunity to hold meetings remotely. Depending on the needs of the strata corporation, property managers will explore options with councils regarding scheduled general meetings.
We are preparing for future potentialities. At this time, we hope to continue business operations from our office locations, but will advise you if our approach changes as the situation develops. We are exploring new solutions and approaches to accommodate remote work if an alternate approach is necessary.
We have decided to postpone the Forum in Nanaimo, scheduled for March 28th, to a future date, and will make a decision next week regarding the Victoria Forum. We will take every necessary step to ensure public safety and minimize the risk of exposure to our community.
In addition, many janitorial companies have communicated their targeted response to the situation, including increased their cleaning of high-risk areas in accordance with recommended guidelines, such as desks, elevator buttons, door handles and light switches.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your strata council or property management team. Thank you in advance for your cooperative and proactive approach to this situation, and please take care of yourselves!
